- Background knowledge of electromagnetic, communication, and antenna theory
- Experience with industrial power distribution and motor control
- Skilled at using multiple computer drafting and design tools, such as: Computer Simulation Technology (CST), AutoCAD, and Solidworks
- Familiar with various scripting languages, including: VBA, Matlab, Octave, R, and LaTeX
- Proficient in the use of Windows and Linux operating systems
